It is the end of March and I feel somewhat successful. Have I used a paper worksheet, yes, have I used it a lot, no. In fact, I feel guilty about the amount of copies that have been made for me that have ended up in recycling or GOOS (good on one side) paper. To be clear, I am not saying worksheets are bad or that we should only use tech for tech's sake, in fact I ground my teaching in the TPACK model. I am simply saying that there are things we can let tech replace.

After a wonderful, relaxing Spring Break with my family I returned to the Clover Classroom full of joy on Monday morning. I was so excited to see my students smiling faces and they did not disappoint. We are in shock that we have entered the final nine weeks of third grade. Where did the time go? In the last nine weeks we will face the 2 days that shall not named but I am confident we can approach these days calm prepared and ready to show we are smarter than a test maker. We will continue to use our makerspace, build with Kinex, code and be creative. We've got this! The Clover Classroom was a sea of green the last day before Spring Break! I gave in early doors to their desire to celebrate this day with me (even though we were a week early!). Later in the day our Kinder buddies joined us. I even had a personal banner made! Thanks team...
