Thankfully there was no drama at my house this morning. I even managed to stop for a coffee and a taco! The children were as eager as ever to get in the room and play with their goalie and kicker. World Cup fever has well and truly set in. We started the morning off with a Graph Programming activity. The children enjoyed it and many were able to replicate the drawings the other students created and programmed. We then settled down for some Scratch time. They had so much fun exploring, creating and re-creating. Their confidence with the program has grown so much and I enjoyed watching them be brave and take risks. After our snack we had a brief WeDo 'soccer match and went for a walk down the 'Death Trail'. The rest of the time was spent on Scratch, Tynker, Khan Academy and... World Cup soccer. Yes... we just HAD to. A great day of learning and cheering. USA, USA, USA.... Tomorrow will be a day of celebrating learning with a pizza party at 11:45am. You are more than welcome to join us. Please complete this form so I know how many people to cater for!
